Designed by William Morris in 1884, Cray features large chrysanthemum-like flowers and winding stems, layered with smaller flowers and curling foliage in an intricate, flowing composition. Drawing on the English landscape around him, Cray was inspired by the the River Cray in south-east London, a chalk stream that flows into the River Darent.

Bold floral blooms and meandering botanical forms in rich heritage tones transform each game into an opulent moment of leisure, evoking the ambience of ornate gaming parlours, antique furnishings, and the Mahjong vogue of the 1920s.
